ODU held a sea level rise research forum today, August 10, with about 25 people to identify the region's research needs.  Corporate, local, state, and federal government, and academic interests attended...along with Wetlands Watch.

This meeting shows the importance of the issue to the region and the leadership role that ODU will be taking as we move ahead.  Watch for more of these.

On a related front, NASA Langley is holding a multi-day workshop on climate change impacts on their facility in late September.  Again, the issue of sea level rise is gaining attention in the Hampton Roads region.
