Public Notices

Public notice must be given prior to issuance of permits for wetland disturbing activities to allow citizens to comment on the proposed project. These are issued by various agencies including the Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Environmental Quality, Virginia Maine Resources Commission and local Wetland Boards or their equivalent.
