Social Media/Policy Summer Intern

From growing the oyster bed at my middle school to attending high school on the edge of the Hague in Norfolk, environmental conservation has been at the forefront of my education throughout my life. Now, as an incoming second-year at the University of Virginia, I’ve expanded my involvement in both environmental and policy issues through my studies and community engagement. At UVA, I am involved in political and advocacy organizations, serving as the Social Media Team Lead for the university’s premier undergraduate political magazine and competing on UVA’s travel Model UN team. I have a deep interest in the intersection of government, advocacy, digital design, and communications, which I hope to pursue further in my role here at Wetlands Watch!
